folding at home uses both gpu and cpu on different projects

folding at home is also working on other projects other than covid-19, set it to any disease and you should be fine

The preferences are baked into the Client and currently only support "Any" "Cancer" and "Alzheimer's" I believe so for F@H to add another preference requires rolling out an updated client which requires lots of testing.

 

That said there are more COVID projects out than others so you will get some eventually.
