Choosing and or intel

So I was thinking of getting 1300 gaming , working and streaming and I've heard that Intel has good CPUs for gaming but amd has more cores for work loads +I need a good motherbord (prefible white l

 

 My CPU budget is around 300 many more if I cheap on the mother borad 

 

And mobo around 150 to 200

 

(GPU is a 1080ti )

R7 3700x + b450 gaming plus max or tomahawk max. 

 

Can splurge on the motherboard if you want to, but its not neccesary

AMD CPUs are jack of all trades,Intel CPUs are only good for gaming and very specific workloads,
