0% gpu usage

Ive tried alot of steps to find out my my gpu is always at 0% and nothing seems to work, can anyone help me out 

 

I7-6700K

16gb Ram

RTX 2070 Super

What do you mean? 0 % GPU usage in Windows on the Desktop? That would be normal.

Helps to know what you already did, so that we don't recommend it again.

 

Did you try:

Fresh driver install

Uninstall drivers with DDU

Older driver version

Make sure video cable is not plugged into the motherboard

Use software other than task manager for GPU usage

Synthetic tests with unigine heaven or superposition

If you're looking in Task Manager, many games do not register their usage there. Use other monitoring tools.

like when i play modern warefare, i only use cpu and nothing on gpu, when all my other friends say they use 100

not when im on desktop, when im trying to play certain games

Are you sure you are running the game on the GPU? Sounds like you are using the integrated HD 530 Intel graphics.

As mentioned Task manager shows 0% for MW and other DX12 titles. That doesn't mean your GPU isn't used, jsut that TM doesn't count DX12 usage.
