CPU cables are fine ?

Go to solution Solved by FloRolf,

yeah it's fine, it's just ugly ;)

There are Cable extensions that even look fancy with sleeved cables and all. They go for quite cheap.

Hi , On last few days I´ve changed my power supply , my new power supply use flat cables that I´ve never used before because only have used 1 build of mine with the same PSU until few days ago ...  maybe I am with a bit of anxiety  because it´s a new power supply and I don´t to buy a new one again or maybe is because I have to stay home 24/7 because the COVID-19 pandemy , however  I had to route my CPU cables under the GPU because the CPU cable was too short to get behind the case for the specific cut out for the cable ...   it looks like on the photos , it is fine that way ? will be fine like that like at least  for some years xD ?

You may be able to route the cable on the back of the board if you flip the power supply so that it takes air from inside the case.

It may put the cables a few cm closer to the back of the case, making it possible to route the cable.

Downside is the psu may just be just a bit warmer, therefore noisier (fan spins faster to keep same temperature) if the psu has adjustable rpm.... otherwise nothing bad.

appreciate your comment , but I´ve always had think that the better way to mount a PSU is like that (like the way I have) , so or I buy a cable extension or stays like that , and since it will cause no issues like the way it is I think it will stay like that until I need to change The CPU .
