Hello everyone

I'm planning to upgrade my current GTX 970 to 2080 sometime in the summer. The only problem is, I'm not sure my motherboard and the rest of the system can handle it. Any advice?

My current system specs:

Intel i7-6700k 3.40Ghz

z170 pro gaming

16 Gb RAM

Asus GeForce GTX 970 Strix-4gb

evga 750w power supply

Make sure your case can accommodate the length and height of the graphics card. The included coolers on many of today's graphics card can be huge depending on which manufacturer you get it from. Look at the card length and use a ruler to see if it will fit in your case and be able to clear other cables or components that you already have.

Also, check to see if your PSU has the relevant number of plugs to support the GPU.
