Extra RAM overclocking

Go to solution Solved by Jurrunio,

You're probably running really awful timings, that's why.

It could also be called "DOCP" or "A-XMP"

I have 32GB (4x8GB)聽 corsair's vengents 3000MHz and I overclocked it to 3200MHz (XMP is not available for me, i think this is because I have rysen. Or it could be my motherboard dose not support it.) will this effect stababilay I did not touch voltages but they are still at 1.2v and my PC is very stabel. i think i am just wondring if i have scrued up with any think p.s it runs fine at the moment. Thanx for any help馃榾

is it stabble or is it going to start blue screening

It all depends on the RAM you got. We can鈥檛 exactly know for sure what your specific RAM sticks will or will not do. Every RAM stick is different and has different overclocking ability. Try running AIDA64 and see if there is any instability.

this doesnt mean anything without knowing the CPU and version of AIDA used. It's easier to just check the frequency and timings used from say, CPU-Z
