That looks really good for the budget however, you should definately reconsider getting a cheaper case and putting that extra money towards an FX8320 and a Asrock 990FX Extreme 4. Possibly even an improved graphics card. otherwise this build look nice!

Please read the OP, the maximum he's spending is $600 and that'll go over the $600 budget.

Well incase you didnt look at the total of all those parts he currently has ($508), Id say 40$ more would still be under the budget of 600$

CPU: i7 8700 GPU: Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 Mobo: Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 5 Ram: 16GB EVGA SuperSC SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

amd is the better option at this pricepoint. that ram is overpriced. z87 is useless with that cpu. 7790 fits that budget. 7850 would also be an option.

$508 plus $95.99 (the case) so it'll be over the budget he want's to pay.

Well you didnt read my first comment which is at the very top of the list. Go back, look at it, and reconsider.

Read the OP, it's not my build.

My friend wants an Intel build, I'm not in his mind.

try to change his mind! i think that 95% of the forum can agree with me that you should go amd at that budget.
