Hi all,

I'm new to building PCs, and I've just finished my first rig. I've got an MSI x470 Gaming Plus, with a Ryzen 3600 CPU, an RX580 card, 16 gb of ram, a 500w Thermaltake PSU, and a few hard drives I've salvaged from parts bins and old computers. The issue I'm facing is that I'm not getting any signal to my monitors when I power on the PC. When I press the power button, I hear and can see each fan whir to life, and the motherboard lights up just fine, but then I receive no signal to the monitors. I've tried the HDMI port on the motherboard, all three displayports outlets on my GPU, and the one HDMI outlet it has. No dice. Is there any other information I am missing?

Keep in mind you wouldn't get video out from the motherboard, your CPU doesn't have an integrated videocard.

Grab the motherboard box, look at the front of it, the bottom left. Does it have a Ryzen 3000 ready image like this on it?

Just a quick thought, is your GFX card pci power cable connected? If you can provide photos it might help assuming this or the previous post hasn't helped.

I just dug up the box, yes it does have that badge on the bottom left.

If you're talking about the 6-pin plug going into the GPU, yes it is.
