Could be many different things.  Are you playing on a remote server?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

30gb out of how much?  Could be an almost full drive issue.

try a smaller offline world do you have lagspikes again?

Also do you have mods installed?

Or do you have any other applications running minimized when playing? such as multiple chrome tabs or an antivirus or something ?

Is it possible to make a smaller world? I never play single player

I play on Badlion client wich has a lot of mods

I usually play with chrome tabs open but closing it doesn't help. I don't have an antivirus installed.

Also it seems that just after restarting my pc I don't have lagspikes but after playing for a while the lagspikes appear.

I have a 3570k at 4.2Ghz and I get lag spikes in some modern games quite frequently, it could be the mods are quite CPU bound.

Try without the mods, I doubt vanilla Minecraft will have lag spikes, it doesn't with me and I have a generation older CPU.
