So this is my second pc. I bought the ASRock x570 Steel Legend WiFi ax ATX AM4 motherboard, Ryzen 7 3700x, NZXT Kraken x72, 710i, NZXT C650W 80+ Gold.

My main question is the motherboards CPU power is a 8+4. My psu only came with a 4+4. I do not plan on overclocking. So how do I plug these in?

Secondary question is do I need to flip my radiator right-to-left?spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Hello fellow mechanic!!

You can use the 8 pin connector only. The extra 4 is for extreme overclocking, you don't need it.

Game on!!

Amazing and spot on guess on the job! And thank you for the answer! I was confused cause the plug shapes didnt match but it still fit. Gonna be like 3 to 5 months till I can get the gpu to boot this new system and a couple more to complete it with the 2 ssds.

Radiator placement should be fine as long as nothing is being strained or kinked. From what I can see on the pump/block area, it looks to be okay.

I got my old 980 that has to be downclocked, but dont wanna have to clean out the nvidia when I get the amd

The old 980 is the main reason for starting a new build. Has to be downclocked ~150 from its stock to not crash the whole thing. Event viewer will say stuff like nvidia driver hung for 0.0000078sec-driver successfully restarted. But obviously it is never successful.
