Plug it in to your video card then go to display settings and set it to mirror.

You literally just plug it in. The option to mirror will be in Windows settings.

im connecting to like an old tv so that isent working

ok i got the tv to work but the picture looks terrible i have it on duplicate screens but it looks just bad it has black bars on the top and bottom and its not in 1080p

thru the TV settings itself on the TV menu. usually under picture and then aspect ratio. mine is set to "just scan"

well I was asking if you had pics but I can see what you mean. the resolution is set too high on the second screen.

 

follow the instructions in that link.

i have the second monitor connected to the motherboard

then connect it to the grpahics card if it can because the motherboard cant tell what it is entirely.

my main monitor is connected to the GPU via HDMI

and you are trying to use your TV as a second monitor? does your GPU have a second HDMI or DP?

nope i would need to get an adapter also id like to use my tv to watch anime from anime websites

so i have a new problem now so it turns out my tv display is running at 20hz interlace when i try to change it to 60 it says i do not have the admin rights what does that even mean?
