I want new case, i currently have fractal define r5 which is way too heavy and big (20.472" x 9.094" x 17.756 and 23.6 pounds according to google), and i've been using this case for years so want a new one. From a quick search I liked the be quiet pure base 500 and 600, do these fit my requirements? What is the difference between those 2 pure base models, and is there any case you think is better for me?

reqs:

no window

not loud

able to fit MSI rtx 2070 super which 11.7 inches long

atx mid tower

on the smaller and lightweight side, so smaller/lighter than define r5, but weight matters more than the size to me. i'd like to be able to travel with it by putting it in my checked baggage with this suitcase https://www.amazon.com/Computer-Carrying-Processor-Keyboard-Accessories/dp/B07JPDY8HV/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

L: 21.26 inch/ W:17.32 inch/ H: 20.47 inch are the dimensions of the suitcase so it shouldnt be a problem to fit most cases, which is why weight is the most important thing for me. the pure base 500 is only 15 pounds according to google which is much better for me than 23 pounds define r5

i've only used mid atx before, whats the cons of using a mITX motherboard and case? how much smaller are they? i'd be open to using them

Cons will be expandability, only 1 PCIe slot, 4 SATA ports and 1-2 M.2 slot. Dont expect to add anything it doesn't come with either, so not gonna add any extra SATA ports or USB ports if you want them. Cooling is another thing they sacrifice, so dont expect overclock headroom for GPU or CPU.

As for the size, check the mITX cases. The NZXT H210 represents the larger mITX cases, Thermaltake Core V1 among the shoebox cases (motherboard lies flat), Silverstone RVZ03 for the smallest bunch of mITX cases.

also, what about microATX mini and microATX mid? i'm not sure the difference between all of them are

I dont think there's actually a clear cut standard between these two, just check their dimensions.

be quiet! Pure Base 500 and Pure Base 600 Notes

The be quiet! Pure Base 500 and be quiet! Pure Base 600 seem like fine options, there doesn't seem to be any glaring clearance issues (although, for the Pure Base 600, you might need to remove the HDD cage to fit your 328mm graphics card). Compared to the Fractal Design R5's 23-ish lb weight, the Pure Base 500 weighs 15.3 lbs and the Pure Base 600 weighs 16.4 lbs. For more differences between the Pure Base 500 and Pure Base 600, may I direct you to this link on be quiet!'s site? (There's a useful "Show only differences" toggle button.) Mm... Also, I'd be wary of TG panels if you plan on transporting the PC frequently.

whats tg panel? I've never travelled with my pc yet but I see that people have before, using the checked baggage with the suitcase i linked. I would be taking out the GPU and ram, do you think my PC would break?

TG = Tempered Glass.

I haven't transported PCs before, but I can give some general tips. Taking out the graphics card is a good idea, and consider removing and individually packing the CPU cooler (especially if it's weighty) and any HDDs. When packing individual components, anti-static bags with plenty of cushioning is recommended. If you can, try laying the case on its motherboard side when moving it, although this might not be possible with your carrying pack.

Also, this video from LTT might give you a few more pointers:
