For some reason now when I open up streamlabs Obs my cpu usage skyrockets to 100% utilization and I'm not even streaming yet. I don't know what to do and why my cpu is going crazy like that. I run a dual pc setup as well, as soon as I close streamlabs obs my cpu usage goes back down to 5%. Keep in mind before even when streaming my cpu usage never went that high at all.

What are the specs of your system?

Granted, even low end hardware shouldn't be pegged at 100% when it's not actively doing anything, but system specs may help figure out what's going on.

Have you tried the non streamlabs OBS, see if it does the same thing?

" You can delete Streamlabs OBS browser source cache that can cause high CPU usage;

  1. Navigate (or winlogo + r) in Windows to %appdata%\slobs-client\plugin_config\obs-browser

  2. Delete Cache

  3. Start Streamlabs OBS again"

Still doesn't work
