Weird Issue

Sup.

 

So I got a weird issue going on as the subject states.

 

I am able to hear audio through my head phones, play music, Youtube, whatever it may be. It works. 

 

Playing Modern Warfare Warzone... I can hear everything in the lobby, all noises, all party friends. About 15 seconds into the game all audio cuts... No noise whatsoever. 

 

If I open the xbox gamebar and play with the audio sliders, all sound comes back.  go back to the game and 15 seconds in all audio cuts.

Are you hitting F10 on the keyboard for anything? That turns ingame sound off and on.

The xbox gamebar is a buggy mess. Microsoft is incapable of programming working software. I have a similar problem with the voice chat in the gamebar, sound cuts out till I start moving some sliders. Im glad I only have to use that bullshit when Im playing with xbox friends, those fucking peasants

nope. but mostly i am using a controller, but I will have to give that a shot when I get back home.

its such a weird issue. I double checked all game sounds, everything looks like it was set right. I am just lost. got pissed playing last night and just switched over to ps4.

Try deactivating the xbox gamebar, or just uninstall it since it's about as useful as these free vbucks. Also try reinstalling audio drivers. Just go into device manager and uninstall everything that has to do with audio then restart. Maybe there's also an option for Modern Warfare to check all files for errors like in steam

Still not sure what is going on, seems like multiple things, first changed the sound level of the mic, for some reason 70% isnt loud enough and 100% is ungodly loud on the other end.

 

Then that stopped working so I went ahead and left the mic test window open and that seemed to solve the issues. I dont know why, kinda frustrating but it is what it is.
