Do you need to activate windows 10 before you can join a domain?

Been struggling juuuust a tad bit. Do you need to have windows activated before you can join a domain?

 

Doesnt feel like you should. but perhaps thats been causing my issue

Well, Its not me directly trying to join a domain from the pc. I'm doing it remotely. It just keeps saying its not gonna do it lmao.

Managed to figure it out. You have a reset built in to the program. That doesnt work for shit and thats what i've been trying most of the time. Doing a full windows reinstall automatically put it into the domain. So i guess thats the issue. Thanks!
