This is my current plan for my first PC:

Would investing in a X570 mobo be worth more as compared to a X470 right now?

Secondly, are there any other things I should change?

I'm trying to keep the price below $1000.

Thanks!

You don't even need an x470 or 570 board- a high quality b450 Board would be fine

For a budget build I would go with a B450 motherboard (I picked the tomahawk max for my 3600 build as well) and I would consider an M.2 NVME drive instead.

I don't see a reason for a more expensive motherboard unless you want it to have specific features.

are you planning to try and overclock? if not a high quality b450 board should be fine unless you need gen 4 nvme support, pci-e 4.0 support, more than the max ram capacity that b450/x470 surrently supports, or you need the ram to go faster than 3600mhz. x570 supports ram speeds up to 4800mhz
