Hi, I am looking to buy a new laptop. I like surface pro x and surface laptop 3. But I am confused. I know the pros and cons of pro X and it couldn't run 64bit apps. That's ok for me. But as it is a new product, how is it going to be in long term. Like will it get slow. At present I have seen few reviewers saying there are some lags and bugs. So what would you suggest, is it too early to get a pro x and better to go with surface laptop 3?

Personally I wouldn't get an ARM laptop if I could get a comparable X86 one at the same price. It's nice that it's thin, but the drawbacks aren't worth it.

nobody knows if it will get slow, but the biggest question-mark is support. Windows 10X might be well-maintained, it might not. Apps might start being designed with ARM in mind, but maybe not. If you don't have cash to play around with, play it safe and buy a normal laptop.
