SteamCache Question

Hi

I wanted to set up a SteamCache with some old hard drives in raid cuz gotta go fast :). Anyway, I was hoping there would be a way for the server to download updates even when my gaming PC hasn't requested them. EX: I'm away on vacation for a week with my computer shut down. That way, when I boot up again, the updates are uber fast. Is this possible?

You still have to trigger it manually though, or create some sort of task like a cronjob.

It's like Task Scheduler for Linux. You could make a file to run a command and schedule it in cron.
