Specs

R5 3600x

Trident z RGB 16gb 3200MHZ

B450M DS3H (yes, I updated to f40 to support 3rd gen)
Rx 570 8 gb

80+ gold 450 watt semi modular

Eclipse p300

This PC has worked before but all of a sudden there is no video output to the display (display gets a signal but nothing ever shows) I have tried a r3 2200g with integrates graphics and tried that video output but not luck. Also tried different ram sticks but still nothing. One thing I noticed was when I flip the power switch to the psu on the ram sticks light up without ever actually pressing the power button. That leads me to believe the Mobo is the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have the 2200G installed, but not the RX 570, do you have video out via the motherboard?

Also, just to be sure. You're connected via the videocard, right?

Currently the R5 3600x is inside but when it was the graphics card wasn’t in. Either way the display gets a signal but no output.

The 3600X doesn't have an integrated videocard, so you will not get video output without the videocard also installed.

So slot in the videocard and connect your video cable to the videocard, to get display out.

My bad I didn’t read the other reply correctly. The video card was in with both CPUs and hdmi to the card. Also tried removing the card and using the R3 2200g with hdmi attached to the Mobo. I tried all the combinations but nothing ever came.

Sounds like a motherboard issue indeed.. Have you tried resetting the BIOS/CMOS and possibly checking if you have video out on another display? (like another monitor or TV)

So to be clear you tried:

2200G no videocard.

2200G with videocard (also plugged into the videocard)

3600 with videocard (also plugged into the videocard)

and both did not give video out?

That is correct, no possible combinations work.

I was working on getting a new Mobo soon but it is still a ways out. I also did try CMOS clear but sadly nothing. I would love for this one to still be working.
