CPU overclock lower Cinebech score

Hi guys I recently build my first PC, so I wanted to get into overclocking to see what I could get to. I did a full core overclock to 4.3 ghz, and then Cinebench test got me lower scores than stock. I checked for thermal throttling during the test and none of that seemed to happen. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Can I ask what you did to check it wasn't throttling?

It may be that the overclock isn't stable. What did you use to verify the OC? (OCCT, Prime etc)

To check it wasn't throttling I kept Ryzen Master open, and just looked at speed histogram and it stayed at 4300 constant. I closed everything, and it only goes barely over the stock.
