Best AM3+ socket Mobo?

I'm looking to upgrade my MSI 970a-g46 because the dimm lanes are going bad. I'm not looking to over kill by spending a shit load. I'd like a good 100-150$ board.

 

Preferably a blue color scheme to it.

 

Quad channel? (i don't think there's any amd boards with quad channel though.)

Unless you have a rather large backplate, you should be fine. Oh, and be sure to get the R2.0 board though.

I'm actually looking at the m5a97 r2.0 because it's cheaper than the 99x

Keep in mind, since it is based on the 970 chipset instead of the 990FX, you'll probably have less OC ability, and maybe a few less bells and whistles.

Trust me, it is worth it in the long run. And you get more goodies, which is always a plus.

You could also look at the Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 which has a better power phase than the M5A97 R2.0 and should be able to handle your FX 8xxx cpus.
