I want to make a partition and try out linux but I can't make a partition from my SSD that's bigger than 32GB. Whenever I try to go higher it says: "You cannot shrink a volume beyond the point where any unmovable files are located." (Screenshots included).

I have 1TB total capacity, with 470GB free. The SSD is the 960 EVO.

EDIT: works now.

*notices 7 partitions on the drive already*

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
