Hello. I want to upgrade my pc, to something newer, more powerful. Currently i cant run watchdogs 2 at 60 stable fps, at low settings.

Specs:

CPU: i5-4460 @ 3.2 GHz

GPU: GTX 960 2GB Vram

Ram: 8 gb ddr3

Mobo: Asus Z97-P

Screens: 1 @ 4k60 (i usually dont run games at 4k)

I'm  thinking of getting the GTX 1060, but i think i will need to upgrade my CPU aswell.

Just check the CPU, RAM and GPU usage while playing the game. If you plan on running 4K, it's possible to use even an RTX 2060 Super without looking out of place..

First of all, we need to know your budget for upgrading and secondly buying the GTX 1060 is so useless nowadays as it is really old and doesn't run newer games at playable framerates.

If you want to have a lasting setup, then hit for something like a Ryzen 3600 and RX 5700XT:
