Hey fellow people!
Currently I have a pc with the following specs:
i5 7400 + mobo with the appropriate socket
RX 470 4gb

16 gb ram

When i bought this pc i had no problem running PUBG on medium graphic setting with 120 fps but now my pc is struggling to run it with 75 and i want to upgrade, i am not really good with hardware, so i am here to ask for help :)
What should i upgrade to run it properly, cpu+mobo or gpu or both?
Currently I am considering getting a  3600 or a 3600x amd cpu, is that a good choice?
Thank you in advance!

How much do you want to spend and where are you located?

Hey

i reside in Hungary
id like to spend around 210-20 euros on the cpu. on the gpu part one of my friends has a 1060 6 gigs, and if a gpu upgrade would be needed that would be the upgrade

Look at a 1600 AF or 2600 + a cheaper b450 board like the pro4. Use the rest of the saved money to get a new gpu- but not a 1060. The performance difference isn't worth it.

I don't see why you need to upgrade to maintain the fps.

Seems like there's something wrong with the pc to even have such huge dips with the same game.

Check your load, look for background apps that running while gaming.

I think you'd be better upgrading to 7700k.

7th gen is still capable for gaming.

7th gen is still expensive if you want to buy a new one(at least at the places where i usually buy my stuff), and im not up for used hardware
Other games run well on my pc, its only pubg that has the fps issues, a complete reinstall might help a bit, but im not sure about it

This 1600 AF looks good, couldn't find a reliable re-seller in Hungary yet
Is the rx470 that bad, like bottleneck kind of bad? My main uncertainty is if I really have to get a new gpu or not?

Like a new GPU would help, but not with your budget.

Focus on the cpu for now

I downloaded msi afterburner to check my pc’s usage while playing pubg on 1080p with minimum settings, and found this weird cpu behaviour, i dont know if i have a well hidden miner on my pc, or my cpu is just this bad, but reinstalling windows with a full format for a fresh test, if it turns out that my cpu is just plain bad ill opt for a 9600 kf i5
