Short version below the big boi text...

Hey, I've been having trouble with my internet performance, due to bad drivers, at least i think that is the problem. I've recently built a new micro atx form factor computer to a friend of mine, and everything was goingfine for the firat couple of days. Then he started having some problems here and there. I was able to fix them after a full reset,  apparently windows didn't install correctly. But the internet problem presisted, so i tried a few more things to try and fix it. So basically the problem is, he has like a really unstable connection, although it doesn't disconnect, it's still really unstable. Like he can't watch netflix without the episode crashing, or like sometimes in the middle of a download it just stops with the message "Network failed" (something around those lines), eventhough he is still connected. I tried to update the network driver going to realtek website and downloading the latest version, then tried updating for that one, nothing. Tried downloading through the motherboards website and updating it, nothing.

Short version:

- Internet connection unstable, always with internet but really unstable (can't watch an episode in netflix or sometimes finish a download)

- I think it's a driver problem

- Did a full reset on the computer through windows

- Tried manually updating the driver with different versions

(Don't think the rest ia relevant)

PS: Sorry if my english sucks, or if my knowledge is limited, if you need any more info, first time asking for help here. Be gentle :)

is the problem existing on other devices/computers? it could just be a bad router.

He already replaced the router plus before the replacement he tested in another device and it was just fine. So basically before and after the replacement in the other device, a laptop, it worked just fine.
