Google Chrome (build 80.0.3987.122) youtube playback issues

Over the past 48hours Chrome has developed an issue where any video on YouTube will bring up the attached error.  It will refresh itself around 10seconds later, and continue as if nothing was wrong.

 

I have totally uninstalled, and re-installed Google Chrome (latest public build) and am running a fairly recent clean reinstall of Windows 10 Home. 

 

Is this a problem with my browser settings somehow? or a problem on Googles end?

Seen a couple of these posts now so I'm starting to think it's an issue with chromes latest update! 

 

You tried it in new edge?
