Server motherboard boot

Hi I'm doing a small budget build with a xeon x5650 6core and a super micro dual socket mother board I'm trying to boot to Windows but it stops at a blinking cursor I know it's probs a stupid mistake I did but its bothering haha pls help.

OK that's not a lot of information to go with.

 

Boot tab. Does the PC see the HDD or SSD you've installed? 

 

What mistake did you make that you need to correct?

 

Did you try to clear the cmos after you've changed a setting then this occured?

Haha this is first booting and tbh I don't know where the cmos clear is on this haha its a server motherboard lol and it's a hdd

How did you make the bootable usb?

 

Does it see the usb your booting from?

Nah I just pre installed in hdd is that bad haha normally it works but on this pc it didn't

Make a bootable usb and then tyr installing form that. You can't always move a hdd with a windows install form one pc to anouther.

OK I'll give it a go lol I thought I'd try the lazy way cause I don't have usbs haha but nope hahah oh well

I have another hdd that has win 7 on it and it gets to the logo and restarts

The only chance you have there is posting W7 in safe mode. Doubtful it'll work..... But hit F8 during post and select safe mode. You can also try the driver enforcement too.

 

If not, gotta install a fresh copy.
