PC NOT POWERING ON

I just finished a new build there however the PC does not power on. the RGB on the motherboard turns on automatically when I plug it into the wall and flip the psu switch on, and when I plug my phone into the USB ports it charges. but when I press the power button on the case there is no power. any ideas?

Your front panel connections aren't plugged in/aren't plugged in correctly. Refer to your motherboard manual for the front panel connections.

I have double checked this and it still does not power on.

broken powerbutton? 

PSU cables connected the right way, some are directional, check if they say PSU GPU, PSU CPU, PSU ATX etc. and that they are mounted with PSU plug in the PSU.

Can you short the start pins and see if that turns the PC ON?

Also, you did not provide any specs...
