Hey guys im planning to upgrade the system completely by 2021..

Need your help with the parts I have sorted out.. If this will be gud in a years time.. 

 

My requirements:

4k video editing (resolve and premiere) 

3d rendering(maya) 

Gaming(1080p)will do

 

CPU 

-AMD ryzen threadripper 2970wx 24core

Or

-i9 7980xe 18core

 

GPU (existing rtx 2060)

 

Motherboard)(something better for either of the above build) 

-asus prime x299 

 

 

PSU

Corsair ax 1600i

 

Liquid cooling(need suggestions) (less than 500$)

 

Storage

-4tb hdd

-1tb ssd Samsung evo

 

RAM

-HyperX Predator (16*4) 64gb

Or

-g.skill trident (16*4)64gb

 

CASE

NZXT 510I ELITE CASE (or something better)

Wait until you're ready to build, too much changes between now and then.

Your plan is to upgrade your PC in 2021? If so: don't bother with a build yet - new hardware will release, prices will drop etc. Come back when you are ready to buy within about a month.

1600W PSU is absolute overkill, you don't need nearly as much. Z390 Mobo for what CPU? Neither of the two you mentioned are supported by Z390.

Okay thank you.. for Psu is 1200 enough? And for motherboard which one you currently suggest?

1200w psu, 1600w psu ... phew. But you're not sure yet what cpu/mainboard to buy. Maybe check the Ryzen 9 3900x/3950x first in comparision to the Threadripper you have listed, that would give some room for a better gpu.

 

Once you definitely know what to buy you can check what psu you need, very probably less than 850w.
