Recently Got a new Dell Alien ware laptop (M17) that I configured and upgraded to my liking. After installing a new Samsung NVME m.2 2TB drive and installing Windows 10 Pro I found out that Samsung Magician wouldn't work and recognize the Drive. Windows however recognized it fine. The Issue however was that Dell Ships All there Laptops with Raid enabled instead of AHCI . AHCI would be a better choice of course. Tried some things after reviewing u tube videos and booting into safe mode( which was a disaster as windows wouldn't accept my password and had to do a full restore). But I seem to be stuck in a Raid setup. Is there anyway to resolve this short of completely restoring the OS. Made a back up of the original NVME m.2 SSD that shipped with the laptop, so I can clone this to the Samsung 2TB drive if needed, but don't know if using this with the BIOS set to AHCI and installing would work? Any thoughts would Help.
