Graphical bug in Overwatch game loading screen?

StrategyWarrior

Hello everyone

First of all this maybe doesnt seems like a big deal but iam really worried something is going on here.

When i start overwatch i get a flickering black rectangle, like in the picture below.

Its like 1ms and it dissapears instantly. The game runs perfectly fine.

This is going on for months now.

Info:

RTX 2070 and i7-8700k

I have the latest nvidia update

Latest windows update

I even formatted windows but i still get those squares occasionally.

Can someone help me out? Am i the only one?

Thank you very much!

Have a nice day!

Sounds like it might be a graphical bug in the game. Have you asked around in the blizzard forums? Similar users may be having the same problem.

Haven't touched Overwatch for a year now so I dunno what might have been changed.

If your GPU was actually failing in some way, you'd be getting a lot worse than a brief flash of a black rectangle. This is more than likely just a game bug.

It could also be specific to certain settings you're using, either in game or with nvidia control panel.

I have the highest settings with gsync and 141 ratio scale, but the flickering only happens when i launch the game.
