HELP! Audio passthrough

Turtonion

Hello guys,

I want to use my phone (lg v30) for audio passthrough from my pc. What I want is that the audio goes from windows over usb to my phone and then from my phone to my Bluetooth earbuds.

Is that possible somehow? Is it perhaps possible to use my phone as a bluetooth dongle?

Why do you need it to go to your phone of your using Bluetooth anyway?

Well.

I got my guitar amp connected to my PC as a microphone. my pc doesn't have bluetooth. i can use fl studio for feedback from the mic (which is the amp) and go to the headphones. but because i have an annoying short headset cable, i can't play my guitar comfortable. and my parents want me to wear a headset while playing guitar. My idea was to have my airpods as audio output. i wanted to do it using my laptop, but my laptop audio driver is broken (speakers and aux don't work but bluetooth audio does) so i would be able to connect my airpods to my laptop but because of that the aux doesn't work i can't use aux input.

Can you still follow?

Usb is worse but much cheaper and these days not all that bad PCIe is much more expensive a little better  and more stable

I think you'll find playing guitar, or any other instrument, on a consumer grade wireless connection to be problematic.

Even low latency aptX has around 40ms of delay, which is about 4x greater than you'd want on the top end of the latency spectrum in regard to live instrument playing. Airpods, and really most other Bluetooth headphones / earphones don't have aptX, so over a Bluetooth connection you'd be looking at 150-200ms of delay which is basically unplayable IMO.

I'd just find a way to extend your wired headphones if it were me.
