Hello, so yesterday i built my first PC.

Specs:

MSI MEG x570 Ace

Ryzen 7 3700x

Be Quiet! Dark Rock PRO 4

MSI 2070 Super Gaming x Trio

Samsung 970 1tb

Corsair RM750x

G.skill trident z neo 32gb 3600mhz

After building it i changed my ram speed to from 2166 i think to 3600 and changed the infinity frabric to 1800. Everything worked fine.

Today i wanted to overclock my gpu. So i did using msi's own afterburner and kombustor.

After finishing everything looked fine and and the gpu temperature under pressure was under 75 C.

But when i tried to stress test in in 3d mark to see the stability of my system, the program crashed so i slowly started tweaking down my gpu overclock. After several tries the system shot itself down when i tried opening the stress test and i had no signal on the monitor from the cpu. My mobo does not have any hdmi or displayports so i cant really see what happened.

Until now i tried using the cmos button on the mobo and taking out the battery on the mobo, waiting 10-15 mins and putting it back on. Nothing has worked. Does anyone know what happened or what i can do? Everything in the system seems to boot, the rgb compontents (including the gpu) do turn on, yet i still get no display.

Edit: other than the ram speed and infinity fabric i did not change anything in the bios.

Ryzen has no on board graphics so it wouldn't work through motherboard it should only be from gpu display ports.

Or am I reading wrong? ?

@ChaosCGTV what i meant is that i cannot acces windows because my gpu does not send any signal to the display

What lelouch said

Just from OC though?

I had built a ryzen for a friend and it was the ram for his issue of the same thing. Have you tested that?

update.... i switched up the gpu with the one from my old pc and it works.... so i guess that means that i fried my gpu?

Seems like it. You shouldn't ever oc it without any proper experiance or knowledge...

Try sending it somewhere to pc local shop or something theye might be able to flash bios again and restore it to factory settings.
Or you can send it to warranty and pretend to be stupid.

Do you have 2 bios maybe? Also it won't be covered by warranty. You should try something else like DVI-D port or try with diffrent monitor. If that's ain't working send pc to local specialist.

are you completely sure that it wont be covered by the waranty? since i did not do any physical change to the gpu, nor did anything in the bios, is there anything else i can try?

. To be perfectly clear, overclocking will NOT VOID your warranty.
You can only try  taking out the gpu and try on other motherboard

Dual bios there should be a switch on the board itself. Well mine does anyways. Just hard to fry a gpu must've went insane trying to OC it.
