Is LG 27GL850 good monitor?

Is LG 27GL850 worth it for gaming, working etc...?

It's the same thing except it's an IPS panel.
If you don't mind the extra $100, then go for your option.

What is good to one person may not be good to another person.

 

For example a good aspect to a monitor is its dirt cheap price, whereas @otherworldlynob may not care on price.

Maybe otherworldlynob likes the quickness of a TN screen for gaming, while I like IPS LED for my porn.

The monitor he linked to, 27GL83A-B, is identical to the 27GL850 except without the usb hub and is srgb only.
