Same card different cooler?

Gigabyte has a couple 1080ti cards available some with AIO some air cooled some even with a water block.

 

my question is if I got This could I run sli with This?

 

are they actually the same card just with two different cooling solutions?

 

sorry if this is a topic that’s been created already I had a hard time finding an answer.

I’m not buying either of those cards I was just using the Newegg links as a reference.

If think that they would work together. Everything is exactly the  same about the card, just the cooler.

Lol I agree, but let’s say you already bought one used and found another used one for cheap due to some shroud damage.

Well cheaper then the first one I bought which was the water force one for $500

 

but $375 for the air cooled one with shroud damage.

I personally wouldn't buy it but to each their own

As far as I know it should work fine.. but is SLI even worth it ? I dont think many games work with it very well..

Probably not worth it. But might be able to swap out the shroud/cooler and turn it for a quick buck.

I haven’t purchased it yet though so I was just entertaining the idea of trying it out.

Yeah shroud damage sounds bad. But if I were to get it I have some options of what I can do with it.
