Ive been running this for about 20-30 min. Topped out at 43c. Is this normal or am i getting am false reading?

Ryzen 7 5800X3D , Arctic Liquid Freezer  III , Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite , Corsair Vengeance 32GB , Gigabyte RTX 5070Ti ,  WD SN850 / MP44L

It depends on your CPU, and what software you are using to read the temperatures.  Some programs can't read the temperature sensor on specific CPU architectures correctly.

If your CPU is Intel, use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility or  HWiNFO or to read the temperature.

 

If your CPU is AMD Ryzen, use Ryzen Master.

If your CPU is AMD pre-Ryzen, I'd suggest AMD Overdrive because of the way the FX CPUs and A Series APUs report their operating temperatures.  If you're interested, here's a reddit thread that goes into more detail.

Older generation Ryzen is very weak at Prime95 like workloads compared to Intel or Zen 2 based CPUs. Combined with the AIO a low temperature might not be out of the question. I found Cinebench R15 or Realbench to be more interesting loads for that generation.
