So here is a list of the components im useing: Corsair 750watt psu,AMD FX6300 processor,Asus M5A99FX PRO r 2.0, radeon r9 270x, g skill sniper series 4x2=8gig

I put everything together according to all the manuals(i do have knowledege of what im doing somewhat) but...all i get is the Standby power LED stays on continuously, and nothing else happens. I have checked to make sure everything is seated right. but im not sure what esle to do? maybe a bad power/reset switch?

Make sure you didn't forget to plug in power for the cpu.

it doesnt boot, no fans no nothing. im thinking 1 problem could be the power switch on the case maybe bad?

That wouldn't really explain the standby led been on constantly.... i'd go and check the front panel connectors on the on the motherboard, its easy to get those a bit wrong if its ya first build.

If you suspect that, then check the cables are plugged into the correct header pins, and try bridging them with a screwdriver/other conductor instead of a switch.
