Hello fellow users of the ltt forums, my rx480 just arrived yesterday and I have a problem with it. It works perfectly fine on a system with an I5-4th gen, but on my system whose specs are down, it does work but latest drivers won't work neither new ones at all, only some drivers from 2017 worked and after 5 mins of playing any game the whole system would stop. Also I noticed a switch on the card when switched at the left side computer will not even post. On the i5 system the switch works both sides, but at the right side (that works for my system) it has the same problem and on the left it works perfectly. Please help, is my system ancient?

Operating System
    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

could be a problem of the board's bios being too old.  After all FM1 platform didn't age well just like AM1, unlike those of different numbers like FM2 and AM3 which lasted a really long time.

I am pretty sure I have got the latest BIOS installed if that is what you mean anything else it could be?
sorry for the late response.

not sure what else is wrong, I've seen builds on newer FM2+ platform with this GPU (or something else in the same generation)
