New headset for gaming (shooters)

DevilsSniper6666

I just upgraded to a dedicated mic setup and am now looking to upgrade my headset. I'm having some difficulties due to how the word "gaming" is attached to basically everything. Since I no longer need a built it in mic it also opens up a lot of possibilities. The headset can be either opened or closed and my price limit is around 250$s. Currently what I've been looking at is the beyerdynamic line but would like to see what any of you might suggest. As mentioned in the title I will be using the headset strictly for shooting games so isolating targets/direction of footsteps would be of the utmost importance.

Thank you all in advance.
