Not 100% sure whats causing the issue being that my system has run perfect for 2 days with no issues at all even under full load. that said i booted up my pc to get on Dying Light and smash some faces. you know all the good stuff. everything seemed normal until the game got to the main screen when i saw a TON of weird flashing lights. So i though ok maybe just a flashy update to make the main screen more appealing. so i went ahead and loaded into the game to play and it kept flashing even during gameplay. note that i havent changed anything. i reinstalled the gpu to ensure proper seating, i monitored the gpu temp and it stayed under 80c, changed the refresh rate to see if it was causing an issue, reset my gpu back to stock speed, restarted my pc several times, and made sure the hdmi cable was properly connected to both the monitor and gpu and still having the flashing issue. tested out gta 5 and all my other games and there all doing the same thing.

1) Check temps

2) Check drivers

3) Hopefully the RAM on the GPU didn't go bad.

What you describe is something that is usually expected of bad clocks on the RAM on a GPU but doesn't quite crash it since the GPU does very little error checking once it's on the device.
