The RX 550 is objectively faster than the Vega 11 iGP to begin with, so... Yea, it'd still be better.

 

That said, I don't recommend it. I would save your money, sell a couple things or something and buy an RX 570 if you have the power supply to support it. The cheapest RX 570 is only $20 more expensive than the cheapest RX 550, and it's an incredible performance boost.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

the architecture is different, but with good memory it is indeed between the RX 550 and RX 560 (though a lot closer to the 550 than to the 560)

And if overclocked to an appropriate speed with good RAM in dual channel, it's nearly 50% faster than the RX 550... The RX 560 is somewhere in the vicinity of 4x the performance of the Vega 11 at stock settings with mediocre RAM.
