Hi there,

I'm looking for a new Keyboard.

Prics and performance wise the Roccat Isku seems to be a nice option.

I don't really get the difference between the Isku and the Isku FX?!

I mostly wanna use it for graphics/filmmaking as some Makro assignable keys

seem nice to me...

Thanks for helping me out.

Best Regards

Windows 8.1 / i7 4930k / ASUS P9X79 / Gigabyte 770 4GB / Corsair H100i / G.Skill 32 GB 2133mhz RAM / Cooler Master V850 / 250 GB SSD C-Drive

Mechanical has a much more relevant "feedback" feel, so you KNOW if you pushed your key or not.   When you push it down, it has an activation bump that you can feel in your fingers, and they also spring back faster, so fast paced games where you have to button mash are a bit easier to button mash.

There's also lots of mechanical keys to choose from, so you can get one you like the most.

If you'd like to try before you buy: http://www.maxkeyboard.com/max-keyboard-keycap-cherry-mx-switch-o-ring-sampler-kit.html

You can get one of those and try the difference switches and find the one you like most.

Thanks for updating. I guess I won't need that as I just want to use if for graphics and film software.

Not really sure if it is overkill...

So would you rather pick the rocat ikus or the logitec g510s?

Logitech has a good rep around here, should be fine with that

Yes, the it have an extra screen its almost at the same price with the same features, if you look in the reviews you will see that the logitech software is better then roccats one.

I have 2 questions to you. Would you use the extra monitor? How many macros would you use? If you need more then 5 macros you can try this one http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-64145-Apex-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00DQ5RGOY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1392337284&sr=8-4&keywords=macro+keyboard

If you really need the screen and more macros you can get this one that is in a good price

I have that one, not using it any more because some of the keys are not registering very well, the panel on it is not that great either, you'll need to use some force while touching it. The wrist rest is nice and the back light still works and I like how it can be changed on different areas on the keyboard, but it's not 16mil rgb

I use on 27" Monitor.

I don't exactly know how many Makro key I will use, but I think I will

assign many Key Board shortcuts of Photoshop and Premiere to it.

I'll check out the G 19. Thanks for sharing your experience....then the G510s

would probably be a better choice.

Cheers
