Corsair 350D/750D/900D Stealth drive

Hi everyone, I'm new here this is my first post everrrrr !  B)

 

I recently got a Corsair 350D and was forced to put a DVD/CD writer into the top 5,25" bay  

I HAATEE the look of it and am thinking of stealthing it like in this video. 

 

Is there a step by step guide anywhere ?? I tried it myself but failed

probably not unless you're pretty sophisticated and have the tools and knowledge to stealth the drive bay

you could take it out entirely but that would and wouldn't help the situation

 

you could maybe spray paint the parts of metal on the dvd writer black to make it stealth like but i don't know what metal material it is using could be a non-ferrous metal

just spraying it with paint won't do since you also need a metal primer

Well I've seen some people just use doublesided tape.... Don't know if it works, but worth a try   Thnx anyway

No problem but it is difficult not to damage the cd/dvd writer even painting with a primer

Hey guys, i did a stealth mod for my 350d. You should use a circular grinder to cut off the back of the drive cover, and then stick them on to your dvd drive after you have take the face of it off.
