What GPU do I really need...

Asking the "pros" on here - what GPU do I really need.

 

First off, I don't really game... (don't shoot me, lol)

 

I will mostly be using the GPU (other than normal PC desktop stuff) for watching/streaming 4K (and eventually 8K?) videos from the Internet... YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc...

 

Will also be using a 4K monitor/TV.

What gaming do you do?  Because you could just use a CPU with an iGPU on it for what you've described.

You don't need a GPU for 4k video acceleration, the intel iGPU is more than fine for that.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

If you plan to only to use it for that stuff, integrated graphics should be enough, and if you want to game every once in a while you can probably get fairly decent fps
