Hey peeps!

So I don't know if it's because of freeSync / freeSync 2 paired with a nvidia GPU that causes the problem. But whenever I'm in a game and click, the whole display flickers.... Its like the freesync is turning off whenever i interact and flickers for a moment. But whenever I'm in windows dekstop or other programs like google chrome, nothing flickers. It's only when I'm ingame such as league of legends or battlefield. I do know of the adaptive sync is between x frames and x frames for it to work and have tried to widen that interval, it still flickers...

Anyone heard of this problem?

My monitor is Samsung C27HG70

Ahh that sucks, so I either suck it up and wait, or just return the monitor ?

It'll never "become" verified, that panel doesn't work with Nvidia/Freesync

If it was something you were looking for and really need it then yeah I'd return it.

Well technically there's nothing wrong with the monitor. It was never meant to work with nvidia GPUs. If you want a variable refresh rate monitor with an Nvidia gpu you need at least a gsync compatible monitor to be sure it works.

You could try to get the latest Firmware for the monitor and see if it helps with flickering.

I just searched for the model and saw a comment elsewhere that newer firmware versions have increased the VRR range, so that might help depending on the version already on it. Certainly worth a try.
