What is 2 x Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports in motherboard

I am building a pc . Can any one please help what does 2 x Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports means in motherboard.

It means that on the motherboard there are 2 sockets for that type of USB that are available for front panel I/o on your case.  It’s a totally different port type than what most people think of as “usb”

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
