can't enter router settings

Go to solution Solved by PillowSmoke,

Check your router ip, by running cmd as admin type in /ipconfig and find your default gateway and enter that into your browser bar.

You typed in 192.168.1.1?

that's not always the default gateway.

Often it's 192.168.0.1 or something else

For the love of god, did you even read the thread ? The ip he used to enter on the router before now it does not work, so the router has some problems.

Oh get lost, you are completely wrong. If you read one of his replies, he said browsing to that 192.168.1.1 works and probably entered it incorrectly the first time. I was making a point of you have no idea what the issue is, and even then, what if the router isn't sitting on 192.168.1.1 in the first place?
