Sudden battery drain

I too have a Mi A3. Your issue sounds like some rogue app is draining your battery. Have you modded your device? Root, magisk, Xposed etc? My battery lasts 2 days and I get around 9-11 hours screen on time easily.

No i have not. I used to get 9 hours of screen on time too.

Yeah pretty much. This months update is going to be Android 10 so that should help a bit we got like 2 weeks more.

It's fine for me. I really hope they don't fuck it up like they did with Mi A2 Android 10 update. Xiaomi is terrible at fixing bugs but really good at introducing them.

I was using Xiaomi phone in 2019 until they released update which made my battery die in couple of hours of idling. Some kind of sync shit was happening between phone and chinese servers (even though I tried to kill any shady crap in that chinese bomb). Then they fixed it in next update because a lot of people were having that issue.

Later Xiaomi released another update that made system memory read only. Couldn't update anything with Play, phone was constantly showing errors.

 

I tried to flash one of previous roms but it didn't help (did all wipes).

 

Solution - I switched to normal phone without chinese bs.

Yeah. Xiaomi should really improve the stability of the updates. Otherwise great phones for the money.
