My graphics card doesn't fit

So I'm building my second PC and I want to install my graphics card: a Gigabyte GTX780ti OC on my motherboard: Asus rampage extreme 4.
Now I noticed that i can only put in the lowest slot, because the graphics card touches the sata connectors if I don't.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but because the card is so close to the motherboard, I can't install any cables (ex. USB 3.0) that need to the motherboard near the graphics card.

How do I fix this without buying an alternative graphics card or motherboard?
The only thing I can think of right now is a PCI- riser and mount the card in my case.

Would 90 degree angled sata cables work?

Try the right angled sata cables.

I looked up your motherboard and I see that the sata ports are already angled. So how can the GPU not fit? Have you already test fitted it yet?

Your GTX 780Ti is 10.5 inches and your Asus Rampage IV Extreme is 10.7 inches.

The graphics card should be able to fit with the sata cables just fine.

His mobo ports are already angled.

it just doesnt make total sense. all cards are close to the mobo and the sata are lower the distance the between the mobo. the only thing would if it had backplate to interfere with the usb 3. i do see that the card could be to low for the sub zero sensor that is beside the sata ports. put the card in next slot down.

He said he couldn't put the card in the higher slots or it would block his sata and not in the lower or it would block his USB.
