I currently own a HP Omen desktop. I'm wanting do some upgrades to some of the components of the pc. It currently has AMD Ryzen 5 3500- 6 core processor 3.59 GHZ, 16 Ram, GE Force GTX 1650, I'm only looking for 1080p gaming on ultra settings. I'm running an 32 in HP 60hz for a monitor, I know buying pre built was the wrong way to go but the damage is done. I'd just like to upgrade what I have. I was thinking GPU, SSD, and beef up the cooling and I'd be good to go.?. But... I'm fairly new to the pc world as I just made the switch a month ago or so. In terms of GPUs I was thinking of going with the MSI Ge Force RTX 2060/ 2060 Super, not sure which is best for my needs. I had also picked out the 860 EVO 1tb SSD. Not sure which direction to go from here. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Like I stated before all I'm truly wanting is a complete 1080p capable rig.

Everything depends on how much you are willing to spend.

But a RX 5700 should be a great start.

For the SSD, visit the SSD tier list in my signature and get anything from tier A and B. NVMe ssds are pretty cheap these days and are faster than SATA based SSDs.
